Atomistic materials modeling combining experiment and DFT calculations of periodic and aperiodic solids. Main research interest: modeling the magnetic, dielectric and transport properties of various classes of materials showing strong electron correlations, multiferroicity, spintronic effects, using first principles methods, phenomenological theories and experiment.
