PERSONAL PROFILE

I’m working as a scientific researcher at National Institute for Materials Physics/ Magnetism and Superconducting, Department, Magurele-Bucharest, Romania from 2002. During this period, I was specialized in structural and morphological characterization, as investigation of magnetic properties for various materials: oxides with applications in in spintronics, energy and catalytic properties (double perovskites, ferrites, cerium oxides doped with lanthanides etc.), molecular crystals, especially co-ordination compounds (oxalates with transitional metals) intended for medical applications, using several methods TG/DTA/DSC method, XRD, IR-spectroscopy, Mössbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements. Also, I was used some processing and simulation programs for X-ray diffraction (DICVOLL, CHEKCELL, RIETVELD) and kinetic analysis of thermo-analytical data-creating kinetic models of chemical processes, predictions of the behaviour of chemical systems-defined temperature conditions for process optimisation. From 2005 I’m member of The Romanian Catalysis Society and The Romanian Ceramic Society of European Ceramic Society and starting with 2006 I was admitted as part of European Network of Excellence MagmaNet. I was participated at more than 15 national and international conferences and I was involved in organising committee of 1st Central and Eastern European Conference on Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry - September 2011, Craiova-Romania. As part of my scientific activity, in April 2010, I was selected as reviewer at Solid State Sciences. Also, I was ivolved in more that 10 national and international projects, as member of team and PI. My list of publications contain more than 16 papers published in ISI journals and over 15 presentations.
